Jacob Murfin is a professional clarinetist in Michigan. He earned his Master' s ('20) and Bachelor's ('18) from Western Michigan University. While there he studied with clarinetists Dr. Ellen Breakfield-Glick, Stephanie Hovnanian, Georgiy Borisov, and Bradley Wong. Jacob is a PHN Alumni where he was actively involved in the band and drama club when he was a student. He has been teaching clarinet for the last 7 years and enjoys teaching the wonders of music and performing. He has worked with several bands throughout Michigan within the marching bands, concert bands, and teaching private lessons.
